Questions
- Is it private?
- Yes. Everything happens in your browser: your files and what you type never leave your device and are never stored on our servers. Some tools remember your last entries in this browser only, so they are there next time. We count anonymous visits, without cookies.
- One file says it is password-protected. What now?
- Open it with its password and save or print it as a new PDF without a password (most PDF apps and phone "Print → Save as PDF" can do this), then add the new file.
- Is everything in the PDFs kept?
- Every page, with its text, images and links, is kept in order. Bookmarks (the side outline) are not, and fillable form fields may stop being fillable, so fill forms before merging.
- The merged PDF is too big for the portal. What can I do?
- Merge fewer files, or make scanned pages smaller first: turn the photos into a PDF with JPG to PDF and choose "Smaller file".
- How many PDFs can I merge?
- Up to 50 PDFs and 2,000 pages in total. Large files need more memory, so on a phone keep to what you need.
